Has your household or business taken steps toward "going green?" Many people still don’t understand how simple it is to “go green”. They don’t realize what an impact they can have on the environment by making a few simple changes at home. They also are missing out on lower utility bills, reduced household waste and less money spent at the gas pump.
Environmental issues affect how our citizens live, work and play. Environmental issues affect the livability and health of our community, our nation and our world. That is why Garland launched its green initiative in 2008, to bring together information and resources to help each of us live a healthier lifestyle.
